Visicomm Industries manufactures, sells and rents a broad range of rotary and solid state design frequency converters from 1kVa to 5000kVa. A frequency converter can be single or three phase. The converters change not only the frequency but the voltage as well eliminating the need for additional transformers. We offer 60-50,50-60,and 60/50-400hz converters in both rotary and solid state.These systems can be used for testing or continuous duty applications. We also offer sound attenuating and weatherproofed enclosures if they are required.
The single phase solid state frequency converters range from 1 to 12KVA (to 50KVA single phase with a 3 phase input). These frequency changers use IGBT technology and are designed for continuous operation.
The electric motor driven generator sets ("Rotary Design") can range from 6KVA to 5000KVA. The motor generator sets are offered as both induction and synchronous motor driven frequency converters.
Either an electronic frequency converter or one of the motor generator type of frequency changers can be rented for short term projects.
